(Bangkok) 8 August 2022 - Rêver Automotive hosted a press conference for the company’s launch as the Thailand Authorized Distributor and after-sales service provider offering one of the world’s top electric vehicle brands, BYD. The company will power Thailand to become NEV Nation with technology and innovation.

The dedication to improve Thailand, and the mission to accomplish Net Zero Emissions, are the motivators for a new breed of business entrepreneur led by Prathanwong and Prathanporn Pornprapha. Their goal is to build an environmentally-friendly NEV Ecosystem with technology and new forms of automotive propulsion. Rêver Automotive has been entrusted by BYD Auto Industries Co., Ltd as the Thailand Authorized Distributor to distribute and provide after-sales service for BYD cars in Thailand.

BYD achieved greatness with tech and innovations to make life better

In 2023, BYD announced that it would cease production of internal combustion-engine vehicles and manufacture 100% EVs, “the first in the world” to do so. At latest, it was disclosed that BYD’s EV sales have exceeded 1 million units, thereby admitting BYD as the first Chinese brand to the “One Million Club” of global new-energy automakers. Brand-building on secure foundations

Rêver Automotive has invested over 3 billion THB to push BYD into the top five companies of Thailand’s automotive market within five years. The company will deploy a strategy of partnerships for auto industry knowledge and expertise, while BYD’s products are significantly strengthened with technology. One of these is the Blade Battery, which has become the best and safest EV battery on the market. This is the battery that has been rigorously tested to the extreme with what is called the “Nail Penetration Test”, to have a longer service life and greater range. Most crucially, it has the highest safety, as issues have been addressed and safety worries dispelled. e-Platform 3.0 is a platform of the future which has taken EV driving to another level for acceleration, range, charging speed and stable temperature control. The driving experience has been made smarter. By the end of this year, Rêver Automotive will launch the first New Energy Vehicles from BYD, for Thai drivers to experience this innovation for themselves.

The marketing strategy of Rêver Automotive as a distributor and provider of after-sales service for BYD vehicles in Thailand as the Thailand Authorized Distributor, aims to make the Top 5 of the New Energy Vehicle market in Thailand within 5 years. The company has powerful after-sales service through both online and offline channels coordinated with new technologies for maximum customer satisfaction through the Rêver Super Application. This will launch simultaneously with the first model of vehicle and expand a network of partners. Dealers will have both a Showroom and a full-Service Center at 31 locations by the end of this year. There is also a collaboration with SHARGE to open up to 1,000 fast charging stations all over Thailand. Meanwhile, the company is building knowledge and understanding about driving EVs and charging them at home, which is as convenient and easy as charging any other device, being simple, fast, and highly cost-effective.
